This store has some pretty nice stuff in it, but it’s a really slow at the registers. In my case I had to repack the jacket I’d purchased as the hapless sales clerk couldn’t have more screwed it up into the bag. Changing rooms are excellent, many and spacious.

I made two separate orders online, the quality of the clothes wasn't great, one dress looked really cheap and the material clung to me. Each time I returned an item, the tracking didn't work and over a month later I had to chase for my refund. The second time they're refusing to pay me back as I don't have my Royal mail receipt for postage - despite sending them the electronic version of the tracking number, when and where it was posted (with a timestamp), a screenshot of evidence of handing the item over and two emails from River Island telling me the item had been handed over and my refund was in process. It's another two weeks on and they still refuse to refund me. 2/2 I've had issues and I'm still £47 out of pocket. They have now lost a customer for life because of how terribly they have handled this. I now do not trust ordering online at all.

Who hired the members of staff here?!?! Service was terrible!!! The sales clerk was at the desk tapping her nails on the counter as a way to suggest she was waiting. What happened to BASIC customer service such as "Hi, can I help? Or next please" Then handed me my items saying "here" which was just about audible. River island please invest in some customer service training for your team. Very appalling!!!!

The store has a great variety of wallets, purses, shoulder bags and the like. Although the collection is great, it would be appreciated if the wallets are kept in an orderly manner and not look like just dumped. It really sets the mood off while shopping when it is scattered all over the place. Staff could be a bit friendly.

I know the shop is busy but is that a reason to deliver that poor customer service? First I asked one person working in the shop where is one item she showed me by finger ok maybe she couldn’t walk with me fine, the item wasn’t there. I went to till and the lady said she doesn’t know if they have it and can’t I see she is serving someone else? Really? As minimum be nice to people! You don’t care about sale ok fine but at least be nice. So upsetting as I love that brand

Yesterday at 7 pm I was attacked verbally by the security guy at this branch ( it was heavily raining outside, so I came into the shop shaked my umbrella at the door on the side) Security jumped at me and started yelling aggressively!!!! Security told me that he is going to finish his work and find me at the street!!!! Unfortunately no employee standed by me, no one asked him to stop! ( every single word I said was recorded on CCTV) this is sounds dangerous ! I am going to sue this company as they chose this dangerous person to be a security at thier shop.
